Junior Graphic Designer

Minute & Azimut - Watches & Accessories is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who has a great interest in production for media. The ideal candidate will be looking for the opportunity to practice the skills required to work in high-end production companies or publishers.

We currently have the opportunity for an unpaid voluntary internship. We are looking for someone to help produce digital content for advertising purposes. Ideally, the candidate will be studying media or a related degree, and will be looking for experience in a new and busy company. The job will not be full time, but will require 10 to 18 hours of work per week.

You will be a creative person, and will be given creative roles with direction. Some examples of your tasks as a Junior Graphic Designer are:

  • Researching given subject areas and gathering information

  • Writing content for marketing materials and our website

  • Creating infographics

  • Creating banners and digital advertisements

  • Small scale video production and animations

 

The ideal candidate will have the following prerequisites:

  • An advanced understanding of photo-editing programs, such as Adobe Suite applications or equivalent software.

  • The candidate will possess the ability to create high-quality infographics and digital displays.

  • The ability to work with video media.

  • Have their own high-quality camera for still image production.

  • Strong ability to multitask.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.

  • Advanced organisational skills.

  • Creative problem solving skills are essential.

  • Capable of working to deadlines.

 

The Junior Graphic Designer position is an unpaid position for three months, with the potential for a paid internship following review. You will be given a weekly assignment to complete. This will usually be a creative task; you will be provided with guidelines, and expected to keep your manager updated with your progress.

Although this is only an internship opportunity, you will be working for a real company and the work you will be doing is essential to helping the company. It must be taken seriously.
